Trick Eye Museum
Every Wednesday is “playdate day’! So on Tuesday evening I started scratching my head, thinking of activities for the girls. They had played dough, did painting, and went for a picnic; what’s next? Deb suggested going to the Trick Eye Museum and I’m glad we went.
Trick Eye Museum, a renowned tourist destination in South Korea, has made its way to Singapore. This 3D art gallery features paintings created using trompe l’oeil techniques that give each 2D art piece the illusion of being 3D.
I was quite surprised that on such non-peak period (no festive seasons or school holidays), there was still quite a crowd! Half the time I struggled to pull Sonia away from those trying to take some pictures with the ‘art pieces’. Also, she wasn’t very enthusiastic about taking pictures (sigh). She was, however, happy to just follow Heidi around 🙂
This looks like some OOTD shot uh?!? Okie, here we go…
Hair clip from some random roadside stall at Adelaide.
Pink cardigan from RL.
Yellow flora dress from OshKosh.
Black school T-strap shoes from RL.
Socks from Carters.
I was driving, so didn’t manage to take any pictures when they were in the car. Here’s a picture of them (all strapped to their car seats). Deborah, thanks for the picture! Anyway, initially I thought this was taken after we left Sentosa but later realised that it was taken as we just left home (see the security room at the background?!?). I’m too lazy to shift this picture to the top of the post so I shall leave it as it is.
It was a day well spent!
