One day Heidi (our neighbour) came over and invited Sonia to her Church for PJ party. Sonia got all so excited! She ran to her drawer and pulled out a pink PJ, then went to the door again but Heidi wasn’t there already. She frowned, insisting to go over to Heidi’s house. It took me a while to sit her down and explain that the party is on Sunday!
Anyway, Sunday came and I reminded her of the PJ party. This time round, she pulled out her white PJ (see, kids are fickle minded). I always ask what her favourite colour is and it changes every single day. Haha…
It didn’t take her long to brush her teeth, wash up and get dress (since she can’t wait to get out of the house). On our way to Church, Sonia kept asking for Heidi despite me telling her for the hundredth time “Heidi will meet us at the Church later with her mummy and meimei”. And so this went on until we reached the Church.
Summary of the BROTHER BEAR: In the film, an Inuit boy named Kenai pursues a bear in revenge for a battle that he provoked in which his oldest brother Sitka is killed. He tracks down the bear and kills it, but the Spirits, angered by this needless death, change Kenai into a bear himself as punishment. In order to be human again, Kenai must learn to see through another’s eyes, feel through another’s heart, and discover the meaning of brotherhood.
Heidi and Aunty Deborah, thanks for the invitation! We enjoyed ourselves! Let us know if there are any such activities going on at the Church 🙂
