Badminton with my two-year-old

Sonia used to call ‘badminton’, ‘basketball’. I’ve been correcting her for a looooooooong time and FINALLY she says it right.

We booked the court for two hours. The first hour was spent playing with Sonia (and taking heaps of photos). The next hour, hubby and I started playing badminton with our little girl running about in the court. It was actually quite fun to play badminton while dodging her. It feels like a level-up badminton game with more rules. Fun!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAShe had her own plastic racket but she preferred the real one.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASonia was VERY happy! Very very HAPPY! She mimicked our actions and ran about the court. Just watching her play made me feel like the most blessed mother. She is such a joy to have! And if you wonder if she knows how to play badminton? No, she doesn’t. Just wayang wayang (for show) only. Haha…

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Hubby was trying his very best to teach her how to serve the shuttlecock but with no avail. Good try though!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOh! She managed to hit the shuttlecock (with daddy’s help) 🙂

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFeeling proud!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI just realised how she always uses her left hand to hold the racket. Thought she was a right-hander?
