Happy 21st birthday my little brother
You are seven years younger than I am but this gap isn’t significant. You mature at a very young age and are a very sensible boy (now a man). When you came into my life twenty one years ago, I was elated. You have no idea how cute, clever and cheeky you were! Everyone loves you. Strangers had to stop by to play with you or take a second look. Yes, you were a charming boy, and still is.
We don’t share much in common but you know I will be there when you need me. I’m just a phone call away.
Our lives will always be intertwined. Weaving a story together like wool through a spindle. Spinning, spinning, weaving, building. Always creating new life, new stories, new memories to hold us together for the future to come.
My baby brother, cheesy as it may sound, I love you. Happy 21st birthday and have a blast!
Sis++++For the first time in my life, I made more than fifty cupcakes in a day. That was A LOT OF WORK but for you, no sweat. Gee 🙂Sonia helped to place all the cupcakes on the cupcake stand, she served them to the guests and then refilled the stand with loads of cupcakes again. And I stood there beaming with pride, feeling so good about myself. First, I was feeling very proud of my girl. Second, I felt VERY FLATTERED! Everyone complimented that the cupcakes tasted soooooooooooo good and said I could well start selling them (swelling with pride already lah)!“Wah, your daughter looks exactly like her father!”.
Indeed. I must admit I used to feel a little sour about this and secretly wished Sonia looked more like me, but not anymore. I look at Sonia everyday and see more of Edmund in her. And I thought that’s lovely. Hubby says Sonia may look like him but she inherited my character and personalities. Really?
My boy is too young to party. He drank milk, slept, cried, drank milk, slept, cried, and the cycle went on all over again until we went home.My cousins and nephews were only interested in their electronic devices. Young people these days… (shake head).Happy birthday my little brother! That’s my brother and his girlfriend. 很有夫妻像！Dad, mum and Kenneth. Yes, I know, they look more like our elder siblings than parents. I have young looking parents (beam)! These people need no introduction right?!?My brothers. And that little baby there – he’s Axel, my nephew. Uncle Andrew, Aunty Alice and Brenda (cousin). Where’s Marcus?Uncle two, Aunty Sharon, Sean, Samuel and Sheonagh. Uncle Eric, Aunty May and Gina (cousin). The CHEW family!
If you are wondering where grandpa is – he’s playing mahjong in the room just behind us. Busy busy…
My dear brother, may ALL your wishes come true. God bless.
