I spent the entire afternoon baking Strawberry Shortcake and was hoping it will taste soft and fluffy. I put in a lot of effort but baking is all about science (not effort). Something must have went wrong somewhere because it tasted a little dry. Not moist enough, and definitely not fluffy. Worse, the strawberry tasted sour. Puke.
Anyhow, I’m glad Sonia enjoyed decorating the cake. She did most of the work. All I did was to touch-up, and of course, cut the berries.
