At da BEACH with mama
Sometimes we just have absolutely nothing on the agenda and jiejie is still in school. There were Arnold and I, looking at each other. Even after reading five story books, even after playing LEGO, even after attempting to teach him colours, we still had three hours before picking jiejie up from school. This image suddenly appeared in my head….
I remembered taking Sonia to the beach and she enjoyed being in the nature (except she didn’t like walking on the sand). And so I spontaneously carried Arnold, grabbed some spare diapers and a bottle of milk, and drove down to East Coast Beach.
He pretty much just sat on his stroller because he didn’t have shoes (and of course, he still hasn’t learned how to walk). He used to have a pair of grey sneakers but he had since outgrown them and we never did buy him another pair because hubby reckoned he didn’t need shoes until he learns to walk. I’m not gonna wait that long. I will get him a pair before he turns ONE. In fact I’ve gotten him a pair of brown boat shoes but they are a little too big for him now. -_-
Anyhow, shoes or no shoes, he loves being outside. His eyes glow whenever he gets to go out and play! Our helpers call him “gai gai boy” (translation – “shopping boy”). Arnold really loves going out. It doesn’t really matter where, so as long as he gets to go out and play.
