The eleven-month-old babies
I thought it would be nice to let the cousins play with each other so I drove to my mum’s place with my son to find his cousin. They ended up playing with only the toys (totally ignoring each others presence). They didn’t communicate, didn’t share toys, didn’t snatch toys, didn’t do anything together at all. These boys were living in their own little bubble.
There, he tried pressing on a few keys, and banged on more keys. I thought he liked what he was hearing because he continued to press on the keys for the next thirty seconds. Guess his fingers hurt after all the pressing and banging because he started doing this – opened and closed his fist, then stared at me. I thought he would have cling onto me and asked that I carry him away from the piano but he did just the opposite. He carried on experimenting with the keys. I’m not sure if he enjoys playing the piano but when he’s older, I’ll send him for piano classes and see how he likes it. If he doesn’t, that’s fine. He can try other instruments. And if nothing works, there are still many types of sports, crafting, and activities. There must be something he likes 🙂
Can’t wait for him to play me his first song. Gee…
