To the bird park AGAIN
We are here AGAIN, to Jurong Bird Park!
The last time we visited the bird park was some four months ago. And ever since then, she had been bugging me to take her to the bird park again!
Anyway, here we are, with Debbie and her three precious ones.
:: Welcome to the bird park ::
:: Sonia was really excited to be here but she kept “acting cool” in front of the camera. BTH. ::
:: While waiting for Elliot, Katelyn and Elijah, my gems did fish watching and they got all so EXCITED ::
:: Arnold really liked the fishes ::
:: Here’s Elliot ::
:: Hello, Elijah ::
:: Greeted by heaps of flamingoes ::
After walking for a
long while, we stopped by a sheltered area, and pulled out some paper and crayons for the kids.
Sonia drew heaps of circles and I asked “Sweetheart, what’s that you are drawing?”
Sonia replied “Mummy, I’m drawing a tortoise (correction, sea turtle)”.
Of course it didn’t look like a sea turtle to me, you need to be really imaginative to see a sea turtle there.
“I understand that sea turtles are green in colour, but what’s that yellow thing there on your paper?” I asked.
“Oh, mummy, it’s the sun. So hot.” said Sonia,
“What about the red thing?” I continued.
“Hmmm… hmmm… got fish inside.”
I burst into laughter. Some times I wished I could dive into their little brain and see for myself what actually is in there.
Katelyn did some drawing too.
And Elliot drew the entire fish tank.
Besides seeing different species of birds, we saw butterflies…
Beautiful bird. Not sure what specie is this though.
Soon, the kids got hungry and we headed to a cafe near the entrance.
I was really impressed with Debbie’s kids. They were so discipline. Both Elliot and Katelyn sat by the table, open their lunch box and ate their pasta without much mess. Clap clap…
Sonia was happy snacking on baby biscuits and drinking water. She will have her lunch when we are home.
It was nice visiting the bird park again and we looked forward to our next trip to the zoo (not sure when, but we will sure visit there soon).
