Playdate | Crafting
Lately the weather is scorching hot. So I’ve decided to keep the kids indoor. Today, Sonia and Heidi will be making their own Easter hat. I know, Easter is long over but I hadn’t had the chance to do crafting then. Anyway, better late than never.
I bought the crafting sets from Perth when we visited hubby’s brother and now they came in handy!
The girls will never say “no” to crafting. This time round, I told the girls to design a dress for their doll. Be a fashion designer!
I thought Heidi will choose her favourite BLUE but she chose BLACK instead. Yeah, black never goes out of fashion!
Sonia did the pink dress all by herself and the yellow dress with my help; and Heidi made the black dress without assistance too! After numerous crafting session, they are getting better with the scissors and glue. Thumbs up!
It’s not difficult to prepare crafting materials for the kids. Usually, all you need are some papers, clothes, ribbons, scissors, glue and what ever leftover materials from previous crafting sessions, or even recycled materials. Kids are creative and they can just make something out of nothing, really!
For today’s playdate, I used the following materials:
- Empty Ribena glass bottles
- Left over ribbons from Arnold’s birthday party
We all had fun and I look forward to our next playdate session!
