Playdate | Stringing necklace
If you follow our blog, you probably already know about the girls’ weekly playdates! It all started with a “HI” and then an invitation to our place to play. After a couple of weeks, we started this weekly playdate thingy and now Sonia is always asking “mummy, when is the next playdate”. I remembered we had our first place date on 2 Jul 2014. And since then, we had done so much! PlayDoh, vegetables painting, cycling, picnic, making shakers out of recycled Vitagen bottles, silk printing, baking pizza, playing badminton, poly shrink keychains, flower arrangements, decorating cupcakes, play dress-up, made paper lantern, design door hangers and photo frames, sand art, jelly making, a lot of crafting, and visited some placed of interests.
This week, it’s Deborah’s turn to host the playdate! The kids stringed necklace and proudly hung them around their neck. Sonia brought them home and, as usual, showed off to everyone at home. She had to emphasised that wearing a beaded necklace is a girl thing, and Arnold is not entitled to wear one because he is a BOY! Haha…
Sonia gave her 100% attention on stringing beads and I think she really enjoyed herself!
So did Heidi. But stringing beads was a little challenging for two-year-old Tiffany, so mama Deborah got to give her a helping hand.
After an hour of activities, the girls had tea break! Alphabet biscuits, mine FAVOURITE!!!
Opss! I ate most of Sonia’s share. Gee…
