ROAR like a LION “ROAR ROAR ROAR”!

2015 09 08 - Parents' Day at LV

Once a year “PARENTS’ DAY” is here again! Such school events may mean little to many but it meant a lot to hubby and I, and of course, to Sonia. In fact, we look forward to EVERY single school activity that requires parents’ engagements. We want to be there for our children. We want to know what she’s up to in school, who she mingles with, who her best friends are, what she learns in school, etc. And activities like this allow us to better understand her school life.

As she walked into the room, I saw her gazing eyes. She was looking out for us among the crowd (we were seated at the front row, so it didn’t take her a long time to realise our existence). The instant she locked her eyes into ours, her face lit-up! That moment was priceless. She felt safe and very proud that we were there rooting for her.

She was happy and that was all that mattered to us!

Among her ‘jungle friends’, she played the smallest animal – mouse. As soon as the music began, Sonia took the stage and started dancing with so much confidence. That took us by surprise because she was quite shy in nature.

And dance like no one is watching…

Sonia had so much fun singing and dancing with her friends! Everyone of them looked so cute!

My little mouse is sooooooooo cute, I had to take a picture with her!

Hubby wanted a picture with her too but she wasn’t very corporative. Never mind that, she was very enthusiastic about her art works though. She dragged us around her class to see every single piece of craft.

You have no idea how proud we are of her. She had grown so much since she started school at 19-month-young! Learning Vision was a right choice and we never looked back. Thank you, Teachers! You have helped to nurture our kids and brought them much fun and laughters.
